Bail is set at $1000 recognizance for a 19-year-old Manitowoc woman after getting into a fistfight with her 12-year-old sister yesterday morning.
Makala M. Mott is charged with Physical Abuse of a Child. Manitowoc Police responded to a report of a physical altercation at a residence in the 1100 block of South 23rd Street.
The victim told officers that her sister came into her room asking about a sweatshirt she had borrowed, when the suspect “became enraged” striking her at least 10 times in the face sustaining what were termed some “significant injuries”.
When questioned Makala Mott told officers she had just “lost it.” and she was taken into custody.
The lone condition of bail is that Mott is to have no assaultive contact with her sister.
An initial appearance is scheduled for June 13th at 1:30.
