Congressman Glenn Grothman recently led the entire Wisconsin Congressional delegation in introducing the Hmong Congressional Gold Medal Act.
This measure, which has 38 bi-partisan cosponsors, aims to honor the distinguished service of the Hmong people in the fight against communism throughout the Vietnam War.
In a news release, the Republican Grothman stated, βThe Hmong people fought alongside American troops and risked their lives in the name of the principles and freedoms promoted by the United States.β
Congressman Mark Pocan, who is a Democrat, put it bluntly, βI look forward to voting for this bill when it comes to the floor.β
