A 36-year-old Sheboygan man, and teacher at Roncalli Middle School, has been arrested and accused of taking inappropriate photos of female students in his classrooms with his phone.
Charges referred to The District Attorney’s Office against Gregory Melin include Representations Depicting Nudity and Disorderly Conduct.
Sheboygan Police contacted The Manitowoc Police Department yesterday advising them that they had taken Melin into custody on Wednesday.
An investigation revealed that the photos were taken secretly without the victim’s knowledge for the past few months.
The investigation is currently in its early stages. So far, 3 victims have been identified and they, along with their families have been contacted.
Roncalli Middle School has been notified and is cooperating with law enforcement.
Police are encouraging parents to talk to their children and if they learn information that could lead to their child being a victim or witness, to please call The Manitowoc Police Department.
