Endless energy and talent graced the stage at Manitowoc’s Capitol Civic Centre last night (July 26th).
The 2022 edition of the Kids From Wisconsin brought their “Big Bang Boom Tour” to the Jewel of the Lakeshore.
Manitowoc native Peggy Morgan Strimple, the Kids’ Choreographer, and Community Enrichment Coordinator, spoke with Seehafer News during an intermission.
She said, “In our 54 years of existence, we’ve been to Manitowoc probably more than any other community, and we can’t wait to come back next year.”
Peggy also explained the Kids From Wisconsin partnered with the Boys & Girls Club of Manitowoc County by presenting a check for $1,000 prior to last night’s concert.
“We were able to use some of the funds from our show and also some funds that came to the Kids From Wisconsin through my father Tom Morgan’s passing,” she explained. “He was a community member here in Manitowoc for many years and we were so fortunate to be able to present a check to the Boys and Girls Club to use however they wish in growing the program.”
Club Executive Director Bill Bertsche accepted the check on-stage last night.
