The Bucks will need to rediscover their efficiency on defense if they want to return to the NBA finals.
Milwaukee had the number-one defense in the league in head coach Mike Budenholzer’s first two seasons.
They won the NBA championship following a season where the defense was ranked ninth.
Last year, they were 14th overall – and they were ranked 22nd against the top-10 offenses in the NBA.
They basically weren’t stopping the top offenses very often and that’s who you meet in the finals.
