Bail is set at $300 cash for a-31-year-old Two Rivers man who was involved in a physical altercation with a woman earlier this week.
Daniel G. Healy is charged with Battery and Criminal Damage to Property-both with Domestic Violence Enhancers, along with Felony and Misdemeanor Bail Jumping.
Manitowoc Police received a call early Tuesday morning from a citizen who saw a man who beat a woman and threw her of a van around East Magnolia Avenue and Holly Drive.
The victim told officers that they are currently homeless and were living in the van. She also admitted they both did heroin on Monday and believes that Healy was agitated after coming down from a high when he allegedly abused her.
Court records indicate that the Two Rivers man has had previous convictions for domestic abuse and drug possession.
Conditions of bail are that Healy have “no contact” with the victim and maintain “absolute sobriety”.
Bail has been furnished and his initial appearance is scheduled for August 8th at 1:30 p.m.
