This could be how the Badgers football team bounces back from a disappointing loss to Washington State.
Coach Paul Chryst and his team will host New Mexico State Saturday.
The Aggies haven’t won a road game since 2018.
Their 20-game road losing streak is the longest one in the Football Bowl Subdivision.
New Mexico State is oh-and-three this season with losses to Nevada, Minnesota, and Texas-El Paso.
Saturday’s kickoff for the non-conference game is set for 2:30 p.m. at Camp Randall Stadium.
Also, the Badgers football program has offered a scholarship to Omaha, Nebraska standout Caleb Benning.
Benning is rated a 3-star prospect in the recruiting class of 2024.
He would play defensive back if he commits to Wisconsin.
Benning reportedly has offers from football programs like Iowa, Iowa State, Kansas, Minnesota, and Nebraska.
He is also an outstanding wide receiver and return man for his team at Westside High School.
