The Manitowoc County Health Department invites you and your children to say “BOO!” to the flu.
They are offering a free walk-in clinic on Wednesday, October 12th from 9 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. at the Manitowoc County Health Department located at 1028 South 9th Street in Manitowoc.
County Health Officer Stephanie Lambert says the flu is more dangerous than the common cold for children.
Thousands are hospitalized annually and some even die from influenza, Lambert adds the best way to prevent your child from contracting the virus and its potentially serious complications is by making sure they are vaccinated.
The clinic is for those age six months to 19 years and every child must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Vaccinations are administered until supplies last and for more information contact the County Health Department at (920) 683-4155.
