Milwaukee police say 31-year-old Clayton Hubbird is the one who fired the shot that killed a transgender woman in August.
Hubbird has been taken into custody and charged with first-degree reckless homicide.
Regina Allen – known as Mya by her friends – was killed outside her Milwaukee apartment on August 29th.
Investigators say Hubbird drove her to her home after meeting her at a gas station.
That’s where she was fatally wounded.
He has a preliminary hearing set for next week.
