Graham Mertz threw for 131 yards, two touchdowns, and a pick while Braelon Allen ran for 123 yards and two scores.
Payton Thorne threw for 265 yards and two TD’s for the Spartans, who improved to 3-and-4 after the home victory.
The Badgers fell to 3-and-4.
Wisconsin will try and bounce back Saturday afternoon when they host Purdue.
