Brewers president of baseball operations David Stearns is stepping down from his position.
The team announced the news yesterday, ending Stearns’ seven-year run in Milwaukee.
General manager Matt Arnold will take over as president.
Stearns plans to stay with the organization in an advisory role to owner Mark Attanasio.
Also, a trio of Brewers are finalists for Silver Slugger Awards.
Willy Adames is one of four finalists at shortstop, Kolten Wong is up for the award at second base, and Hunter Renfroe is a finalist in the outfield.
The winners will be announced on November 10th.
