The Minnesota Women’s Volleyball team invaded Madison on Saturday and fell to the defending National Champions 3 sets to 1.
The 5th ranked Badger Women were dominant on the serve, totaling 7 service aces while limiting the 9th ranked Golden Gophers to only one.
Wisconsin was led by Sarah Franklin, who had 18 kills, while her teammates Devyn Robinson and Julia Orzol each added 13.
On the defensive side, Shanel Brahmschreiber had 19 kills for the home squad, while Orzol added 11.
The Badgers, who are on a 10-match win streak, improve to 17-3 overall, and 11-1 in the Big Ten.
They are back on the road this Thursday, as they travel to Champaign Illinois to take on the Fighting Illini.
