The public is invited to a Ribbon Cutting and Open House to explore the new Builders Showroom and Design Studio at Mike Howe Builders located at 1013 Viebahn Street in Manitowoc.
Owner Mike Howe says this event will be held Thursday (Nov. 17th) from 4 to 8 p.m.
“We’ve never had one before, We’ve just had our office in there but we are opening up so that customers can touch and feel and meet with us.”
Howe explains that you’ll be able to choose your own lot and select your new home style right on the premises adding.
“People have a tough time visualizing what their homes may look like. The fact that you can pick out all your selections at one stop and make a decision from one stop will be very helpful. They will be able to design a house from my studio.”
Howe adds You’ll also be able to learn more about the Preserve Subdivision at Lincoln Park where the local builder is constructing six different models of homes to help offset a huge housing shortage on the Lakeshore.
“There’s a shortage and the other thing it’s a shortage of very affordable type homes. Everybody has a different definition of what affordable means but trying to build a brand-new home for under $300,000 is near impossible these days. What we’re trying to do is offer a different style to meet those needs.”
Admission is free and for more information you can stop by or log onto mikehowebuilders.com/subdivision
