In Division 4, the Columbus Cardinals capped off an undefeated season by beating the two-time defending champion Catholic Memorial Crusaders 23-21.
The D-5 matchup saw Aquinas win its second consecutive championship by defeating Mayville 22-14 in a rematch of last year’s title game.
Stratford rallied for 19 unanswered points in the second half of the Division 6 game to down Mondovi 32-14.
And in Division 7, Regis wound up an unbeaten season after cruising to a 41-to-7 victory over Shiocton.
Yet to come today on Barry Alvarez Field at Camp Randall Stadium, Monroe battles West Salem for the Division-3 state championship at 10:00 this morning, West De Pere meets Kettle Moraine for the D-2 title at 1:00 p.m., and Kimberly squares off with Mukwonago in the D-1 finals at 4:00 p.m.
