Bail is set at $5000 recognizance for a 40-year-old Manitowoc woman who allegedly spit and cursed at Law Enforcement while being detained.
Jennifer L, Thomas is charged with Discharging Bodily Fluids at Law Enforcement, Threats To Law Enforcement and Possession of Cocaine.
Manitowoc Police responded to a disturbance at a trailer park on Waldo Boulevard last Friday afternoon, where Thomas admitted to have been drinking, then became uncooperative with officers.
While being detained, she allegedly spit on officers and banged her head against the cage. She also allegedly threatened physical harm to an officer.
A subsequent search at the jail uncovered $1,400 cash inside her brassiere along with a baggie containing two grams of cocaine.
The lone condition of bail is that Thomas is to maintain “absolute sobriety.”
Her initial appearance is scheduled for January 23rd at 1:30.
