One of the candidates running for Wisconsin Supreme Court says a story that questions her son’s role in a deadly drug overdose last year crossed the line.
Judge Jenifer Dorow issued a statement yesterday after the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel ran a piece that linked Dorow’s son Michael to the death of a UW-Milwaukee student Cade Reddington.
The story relies on interviews with unnamed sources who say Dorrow’s son sold Reddington a Percocet that likely was fentanyl.
Reddington later died of a drug overdose. Judge Dorrow said her children should be “off limits” in the campaign for Supreme Court.
She added that there needs to be a sense of “decency” in our elections.
