The Manitowoc Symphony Orchestra will feature music from Mozart and Haydyn, two of the most popular musicians of all time, when the MSO takes the stage tomorrow night (February 4th) at the beautiful Capitol Civic Centre.
Dylan Chmura-Moore is the maestro of the MSO which is doing a Classical Era Pops concert.
“This is a real gritty time to be alive, and this music, I think, represents that,” he told Seehafer News. “This music is present today, it is alive today…some of the most seminal masterworks, some of the most beloved music for hundreds and hundreds of years by the most beloved, exceptions musicians ever.”
Chmura-Moore explained the music is going to be illuminated by over 350 candles.
“I don’t think it has ever been to Manitowoc before,” he said. “You think some churches have been illuminated by candles in the past, but I don’t know about 350. It is going to be intense.”
The concert starts at 7:30 p.m. tomorrow night and tickets can be purchased at the Capitol Civic Center.
