The Plymouth Arts Center has announced an upcoming show featuring the artwork of the late Larry Basky.
The show, entitled “Celebrating LARRY BASKY….A Lifetime of Paintings & Prints from Wisconsin to Maine and Beyond”, will open March 10th in Gallery 110 North.
Basky was recognized nationally as one of the foremost printmakers of our time.
He was a native Midwesterner, graduated from Marquette High School, and settled in Plymouth in his later years opening Basky Gallery and Studio.
Later on, after closing his commercial gallery, he continued to work from his home studio in Plymouth, employing new techniques and creating inspired works of art.
His works will remain on display at the Gallery, located at 520 East Mill Street in Plymouth, through April 28th.
Art sale proceeds will benefit The ALS Association of Wisconsin, Aurora at Home Hospice (Sheboygan,) and the Plymouth Arts Center.
