The WIAA Board of Control meeting in Stevens Point has approved the majority of Football-Only Conference Plans while sending other proposals back to a task force for further evaluation.
The portions of the plan okayed by the board Tuesday will be effective in the Fall of 2024 and affect some local football programs.
The FRCC South division will add Oshkosh North to the current structure of schools like Manitowoc Lincoln, Sheboygan North and Sheboygan South.
Two Rivers will leave the EWC and move to the Northeastern Conference, where the Raiders will be joined by former league rival Sheboygan Falls, along with existing members Denmark, Freedom, Little Chute, Luxemburg-Casco and Wrightstown.
Also starting in 2024 the Eastern Wisconsin Conference adds St. Mary Catholic to the current field including Roncalli, Valders, Kiel and Brillion.
