During Monday night’s Two Rivers City Council meeting, there was further discussion on a future 59-unit apartment building that could be constructed on the old downtown Eggers site.
City manager Greg Buckley says the city is waiting for more information before providing funds.
“There was a proposed borrowing action on the agenda related to that development,” Buckley told Seehafer News. “I recommended that action on that be deferred until some of the additional details come in from the developers.”
Buckley added that the city is excited about this anticipated new apartment complex. Milwaukee developer Scott Crawford Development is seeking to build market-rate apartments at this Two Rivers location.
