Governor Tony Evers just signed an $8 million contract to improve 11 miles of WIS 42 in Manitowoc County.
Repairs will create a smoother ride for motorists and will ensure proper drainage to avoid flooding, as well as the addition of wider shoulders and rumble strips.
The construction will begin on Monday, March 27th, 2023, and is expected to be completed late this year or early 2024.
Closures and detours will be posted during construction.
