The Associated Press has revealed its All-State Girls Basketball Team.
It includes four Honorable Mention picks from the lakeshore area.
Ally Kakes, the all-time leading scorer in Girls Basketball at Two Rivers High School, was one of those honored.
Also earning recognition on the All-State list are Kailey Tulachka of Mishicot, Megan Schuman of Brillion, and Anna Fogle from Sheboygan North.
Germantown’s K.K. Arnold was a unanimous selection as AP Player of the Year for the third straight season while Notre Dame’s Sara Rohde was voted AP State Coach of the Year.
Among other basketball players in the region, Neenah junior Allie Ziebell is a first-team choice.
Gracie Grzesk another junior from Notre Dame was chosen 2nd team all-state while her Tritons teammate, junior Trista Fayta, is a 3rd team selection.
