Tuesday is election day, and most people are fully aware of the Supreme Court race, but how well do you understand the local races?
In the City of Manitowoc, there are five aldermanic seats up for grabs, however, only three are contested.
In District 1, Brett Vanderkin is being challenged by Raymond Geigel, District 3 has incumbent Michael Cummings taking on Angela Meyers, while District 7 Alderman Tim Boldt is being challenged by Brian Anderson.
In Two Rivers, there are six people running to fill three at large seats.
Incumbents Darla Le Clair, Adam Wachowski, and Bonnie Shimulunas are being challenged by Dean LaRose, Ron Abney, and Shannon Derby.
There are also races in the towns of Gibson, Manitowoc Rapids, Meeme, Mishicot, Two Creeks, and Two Rivers, as well as in the Villages of Cleveland, Francis Creek, Kellnersville, Mishicot, Reedsville, St. Nazianz, Valders, and Whitelaw.
Numerous school board races and referenda will also be on Manitowoc County ballots.
