Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation’s (WEDC) annual Main Street Place-Makeover Contest has just announced its finalists for this year.
Businesses across Wisconsin can be nominated for a chance to win design assistance and up to $5,000 in outdoor space improvements.
The goal is to enhance downtown businesses to attract visitors and increase the vibrance of the downtown area.
The five finalists are Green Lake GEAR from Green Lake, Mary Kate’s Wine Bar from Eagle River, Moon’s Town Pump from Cassville, The Brew Station from Three Lakes, and Sheboygan Falls’ very own Cap’s Tap.
The current owners are looking for professional assistance to help make their yard space truly special. The final winner will be recognized in the middle of April.
Even businesses that don’t win the grand prize will receive technical assistance to help them achieve their company’s goals.
