Bail is set at $250 cash for a 39-year-old Manitowoc man charged with his 4th OWI Offense.
A Manitowoc Police Officer was patrolling the city’s southside early Sunday morning when they noticed a vehicle swerving in the 2100 block of Marshall Street.
The Officer followed the driver for a short distance and witnessed them continue swerving before pulling the vehicle over on South 20th and Columbus Streets.
When making contact with the driver identified as Kheng Yang, a smell of alcohol was emitted from Yang’s vehicle,
He told the officer that he had consumed alcohol earlier and complied with and failed a sobriety test.
That, along with Yang showing other signs of impairment led the officer to take him into custody.
Conditions of bail are that Yang is not to operate any motor vehicle and is to maintain absolute sobriety.
Yang is free on bond and is due back for his initial appearance on April 17th at 9:30 a.m.
