In FRCC Boys Baseball, one bad inning cost the Manitowoc Lincoln Boys Baseball team a chance to extend their winning streak to 9 games Friday night at Bay Port.
The visiting Ships enjoyed a 3-to-1 lead heading into the home half of the 4th when the Pirates exploded for 7 runs to turn the game around and win 10-3.
Lincoln starter Noah Wech took the loss despite 9 strikeouts in 4 innings of work.
Offensively for Manitowoc, now 8 and 1, Evan Vogt was 2 for 3 with an RBI and Brock Peterson went 2 for 4 including a double.
The Ships travel to De Pere this afternoon (April 24th).
Elsewhere in Boys Baseball today, Bay Port plays Sheboygan North at Wildwood Athletic Park, Howards Grove is at Valders, Reedsville travels to Plymouth, and Hilbert/Stockbridge visits Sheboygan Falls.
