3M will soon experience more layoffs.
The Twin Cities-based corporation claims that by terminating 6,000 employees worldwide, it will save up to $900 million.
It’s unclear how or if operations at 3M’s four Wisconsin facilities would be impacted.
The announcement made today coincides with a sales report revealing a 25% decline in net income and a 9% decline in sales from the same quarter last year.
