A Manitowoc County man has been sentenced in a child porn case in 2021.
50-year-old Miles Lesperance was found guilty due to no-contest pleas on two counts of Possession of Child Pornography and has been sentenced by Judge Jerilyn Dietz to spend three years in prison followed by five years on extended supervision.
The investigation into Lesperance began on March 5th, 2021, when a detective with the Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Office received a tip from Internet Crimes Against Children.
An online cloud service linked to Lesperance was found to have been storing a photo of child pornography.
Several additional tips came in over the following days leading to a search warrant being issued.
Investigators went to his home on Cimarron Court in the Town of Manitowoc, where Lesperance gave them access to his computer.
They located to aforementioned photos and videos, and Lesperance was taken into custody.
