A man living in Monona is wanted by police after they claim he nearly struck an officer during a recent traffic stop.
According to reports, Evansville resident Roberto Ahner was arrested for speeding on Wednesday near Monona.
He allegedly sped away from the stop, driving at the officer and nearly colliding with them.
Later that day, Ahner’s automobile was discovered abandoned off Engel Street, but he is still missing.
He is accused of evading, second-degree recklessly endangering safety, and violating his parole.
