The search for a missing Wisconsin boy in the woods of the Upper Peninsula has come to a happy ending.
Searchers located eight-year-old Nante Niemi Monday, noting that he was a little dirty, and a little hungry, but otherwise fine.
He was camping with his family in the Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park on Saturday when he went missing.
He was located, according to rescuers, roughly two miles from his encampment.
He is from Hurley, Wisconsin, and school officials there yesterday expressed their joy that the search had a successful conclusion.
