Tractors and other farming vehicles are becoming more common on country roads in Manitowoc County, which increases the danger for both those drivers and others.
“This time of year in Manitowoc County, a lot of farmers and a lot of the equipment is on the road,” Agriculture Educator Angie Ulness explained. “So please, as drivers, be safe out there and be aware that tractors have the right to be on the road and watch for those slow-moving vehicle signs.”
Ulness urges the importance of staying aware of tractors and other farming equipment on the roads as the results can be devastating.
She reminds people to always keep their eyes on the road.
