Bail is set at $500 cash for a 34-year old Two Rivers man accused of fleeing police from a Manitowoc business earlier this week.
Jordon D. Johnson is charged with Resisting, Felony Bail Jumping and four counts of Misdemeanors Bail Jumping.
A Manitowoc Police Officer was on patrol early Monday evening when he noticed Johnson walking in The Hobby Lobby parking lot.
He was out on bail on a previous matter with a condition of bail being that he have “no contact” with Hobby Lobby and it was discovered that Johnson had an active warrant out for his arrest.
Police say that as the officer approached, the Two Rivers man his behind some vehicles in the parking lot.
As a witness pointed him out, he fled on foot with the officer in foot pursuit pulling out his TASER.
It wasn’t deployed as Johnson eventually complied and he was taken to The Manitowoc County Jail.
Several bags of merchandise were located on Johnson’s bike and if proven to be, stolen additional charges could be forthcoming.
No condition(s) of bail were imposed by the court.
Johnson remains in The County Jail with his Initial appearance scheduled for June 12th at 1:30.
