It’s summer tourism season at the Wisconsin Maritime Museum.
With the school year ending and field trips dwindling the museum is ready to welcome tourists from around the state and the country.
Cathy Green, the Executive Director of the museum says that the museum will have people visiting in a variety of ways.
“The Badger certainly helps out, but, we have a lot of local folks who have family coming in from out-of-town friends who are coming in,” she tells Seehafer News. “If you are a member of the museum family membership is always free.”
With the attractions inside the museum, they also offer something for people who wish to catch some rays.
“I have been looking out at that roof deck, the Sub Pub up there, counting the days till that opens,” Green said. “We are going to have that open the first week of June.”
