After a 5-year COVID hiatus, the Manitowoc International Relations Association announces the annual Summer Student Exchange Program.
Six high school students will represent Manitowoc during a 10-day exchange experience in Kamogawa, Japan.
The six participating students are Madysen Leiterman from Manitowoc Lutheran High School, Kai Meyer and Lilianna Bautista from Valders High School, and Kateri Estrella, Aiden Plues, and Teak Prigge from Manitowoc Lincoln High School.
Following the 10-day experience in Japan, six students from Kamogawa will visit Manitowoc for their own 10-day experience.
The Student Exchange Program was started in 1993, making this summer’s exchange trip the 30th anniversary of the sister-city friendship between Manitowoc and Kamogawa.
