Play was scheduled to begin this morning (June 5th) in the WIAA Boys Golf Championships at Blackwolf Run in Kohler.
Competition for day 1 of the 36-hole tournament started at 7:00 a.m. for Division-1 golfers, with players in D 2 and 3’ teeing off at noon.
Local and area teams competing on the Meadows Course include Sheboygan North, Fond du lac, and Kimberly in Division-1, Xavier in Division-2, and Sheboygan Lutheran in D-3.
Those golfers who are individual qualifiers are Brady Bleck of Plymouth, Andrew Kettle from Sheboygan Falls, Reece Breitenbach of Kohler, and Aaron Federwisch of Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah.
