The Kiel Girls Soccer team is just one win away from a second consecutive appearance in the WIAA State Tournament in Milwaukee.
The #1 seeded Raiders topped Sheboygan Lutheran/Christian 6-to-2 last night in the Division-4 Sectional semifinals.
Kiel now faces the co-op of Lourdes Academy/Valley Christian Saturday afternoon (June 10th) at 1:00 p.m. at St. Mary Catholic High School in the finals.
Lourdes Academy/Valley Christian defeated Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah in the other semifinal.
In the Division-3 Sectional at Plymouth, the number-1 seeded Panthers shut out Waupun 2-0 to advance to tomorrow’s finale at Notre Dame Academy.
The host Tritons blanked Xavier 5-0 in their matchup Thursday.
