An 8.5-mile section of I-43 is set to close for one night.
From Wednesday, June 14th at 9 p.m. to Thursday, June 15th at 5 a.m. the stretch of highway between the intersection of I-43 and Highway 42 in Sheboygan County and the intersection of I-43 and County Highway XX in Manitowoc County will be closed.
The closure is due to the construction of a new electric transmission line that will cross the interstate.
Traffic will be re-routed to State Trunk Highway 42 and County Trunk Highway XX which is visible on this map.
