Two local semi-pro football teams are back in action today (June 17th).
The Manitowoc County Mariners will be at Ron Rubik Municipal Field taking on the Southern Lake Devils.
The Mariners added a tally in the win column last weekend due to a forfeit by the Mid-West Warriors.
Kickoff at Rubik Field is scheduled for 6:00 p.m.
The Sheboygan County SaberCats meanwhile will be on the road taking on the Lake County Spartans.
The Cats are coming off of a big loss to The Show out of Milwaukee.
The Show’s offense was too much for the Cats’ usually stingy defense, as the Sheboygan County team fell 40-16 at Lakeland University.
The SaberCats will look to rebound in Antioch Illinois with kickoff set for 3:00 p.m.
