An arrest was made this past Wednesday of an employee who was alleged to be stealing money from the cash register.
Suspicion of the offense was first investigated after the register tills were frequently off.
When security cameras were checked, a suspect was identified to have been pocketing the money.
When the suspect was confronted by the business, the suspect confessed to the thefts.
They were later placed under arrest and transported to the Police Department where they confessed to the thefts there as well.
The total amount stolen was reported to be $2,960 by the business to the police.
The suspect was processed with fingerprints and a mugshot and was brought to Manitowoc County Jail.
