Johnsonville, LLC is recalling approximately 42,062 pounds of product.
The company’s “Beddar with Cheddar” pork sausage links are thought to be contaminated with “extraneous materials, specifically very thin strands of black plastic fibers”, as announced by the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS).
The product that is being recalled was produced on Jan. 26, 2023 and bears the establishment number “EST. 34224” on the USDA inspection mark.
Those who bought the product should throw it away or return it to the place of purchase.
