A new event is taking place in Manitowoc this fall.
The Spunky Mutt and Strut 5k run/walk is being held on September 30th at 9:00 a.m. starting at the Silver Creek Park Fieldhouse.
The family-friendly event is being put on to help homeless pets with the hopes of having human participants and their dog companions take part in the race.
And no matter your skill set, the event is designed to “ensure first time walkers and runners can comfortably participate alongside more serious runners”.
In addition to the race, the event will feature dog demonstrations, area vendors, concessions, a 50/50 raffle, music, and more.
