A Door County man was killed as the result of a 2-vehicle crash late yesterday afternoon in the town of Baileys Harbor.
Door County Chief Deputy Patrick McCarty says the victim of the collision on State Highway 57 at County Highway E was 23-year-old Bradley Jordan of Sturgeon Bay.
He was operating a motorcycle southbound on 57 just after 5:30 pm Sunday when a pickup truck going north attempted to turn west onto Highway E and collided with the cyclist.
Jordan sustained serious injuries and was transported to Door County Medical Center, where he later died.
The driver of the pickup, 83-year old James Schorer of Baileys Harbor, along with his passenger were not injured in the crash.
State Highway 57 was closed to traffic for several hours last night.
The incident remains under investigation and no other information is being released at this time.
