One person is in police custody following a stabbing in Manitowoc.
According to Lieutenant Nathan Barnes with the Manitowoc Police Department, officers responded to the 800 block of Buffalo Street, outside of Deja Vu at just before 2:15 a.m. Sunday on a report of an individual who was bleeding.
The responding officers quickly learned the individual was stabbed and began lifesaving measures while EMS arrived.
The area was blocked off for some time as the investigation continued. A suspect was located and arrested shortly thereafter.
Rodger, the owner of Déjà vu, went to Facebook to say “We want to assure you that it was in no way associated with our establishment. The safety and well-being of our customers have always been our top priority. We have been cooperating fully with the local authorities in their investigation.”
The victim is said to be in stable condition and the investigation is ongoing.
