We have received more information on the weekend stabbing in Manitowoc.
Seehafer News received a copy of the arrest report, which stated that the officers were called to the 800 block of Buffalo Street at around 2:15 Sunday morning.
They found the victim bleeding and quickly applied a tourniquet.
The victim was taken to Holy Family Memorial Medical Center before being flown to St. Vincent’s Hospital in Green Bay.
The investigators then looked at security camera footage from Déjà vu, which showed the victim and a Hispanic male engaging in an altercation outside of the tavern.
The two men then leave the view of the camera as they make their way to a parking lot west of the bar.
The police then interviewed the woman in the video, who explained the argument began inside Déjà vu, but that it was only verbal.
When the men went outside, that is when it became physical.
The woman said she was trying to lead the suspect away from the confrontation, but the victim followed.
Shortly after is when the stabbing occurred. The suspect was quickly apprehended and has been charged with Attempted 1st Degree Homicide and Possession of THC.
The victim is said to be in stable condition.
