Wisconsin’s Local Food Purchase Assistance Program has announced new educational events for this summer.
The first of the events will be hosted in Seymour today (July 20th).
Full Circle Community Farm will be teaching attendees about the farm’s diversified enterprise and its agricultural practices that sustain food production and address community food access needs.
Attendees will also learn about reducing tillage in vegetable fields and post-harvest handling as well as getting a tour of the pack shed, the pasteurized pig setup, and their rotational cattle grazing.
The event will be held at Full Circle Community Farm at W2407 Hofa Park Road in Seymour from 2:00 until 5:00 p.m.
