22-year-old Emily Guerrero had her bail set at $500 cash after allegedly driving drunk with a child in the car and then resisting arrest just before 1:30 am Saturday.
Officers arrived at the scene when witnesses claimed Guerrero pounded on the door of her child’s father’s home and made various offensive comments.
Guerrero failed the field sobriety tests. She then resisted arrest resulting in both her and the officer on the ground injuring the officer.
She is facing a charge of an OWI with a Child Under 16, Battery to Law Enforcement, and two counts of Resisting an Officer Causing Soft Tissue Injury.
Guerrero must maintain absolute sobriety as a condition of bail.
She will be back in court on July 31st at 9:30 am.
