The local Farm Wisconsin Discovery Center is celebrating its fifth year this weekend.
The center, located at 7001 Gass Lake Road, provides interactive experiences to visitors to learn about agriculture and cows.
Ag Educator Angie Ulness urges families to attend, calling it a great opportunity to “learn about the technology and agriculture in our great county.”
As for what will be going on, Ulness tells Seehafer News, “The Manitowoc County Soil and Water team will be out there on Friday, and we dug a soil pit, and there’s going to be information and a children’s activity with painting. On Saturday, there’s going to be a drone out there kind of displaying and demonstrating how to apply fertilizer onto crops using this drone.”
The Farm will be open all weekend from 9:00 to 4:00 p.m., and kids get in free courtesy of Seehafer Broadcasting.
