The John Michael Kohler Arts Center is inviting the community to an artistic celebration this week.
The James Tellen Chair City Celebration will be held on Thursday (August 6th) from 1 to 4 at 5634 Evergreen Drive in Sheboygan.
The free family-friendly event will highlight several types of creative craftsmanship starting with indie rock band Cedarwell at 1:00 p.m. and Adrian + Meredith with polka-inspired melodies at 3:00 p.m.
Art-making activities are also on the agenda with oven-baked clay sculptures and cookie decorating.
Artist Jennifer Kaiser will also be leading walking tours to her “Cabin of Curiosities Clubhouse” and other guests will speak on restoration and preservation efforts.
The Deputy Director of Programming at the Center called it “a lovely opportunity to explore kinship with each other, creatures, and the land”.
