Details are now set for the Manitowoc County Mariners’ first playoff game in the Northern Lights Football League.
The Mariners will open the postseason this Saturday at Ron Rubick Municipal Field against a familiar foe, the Brown County Blackjacks.
The 7-and-3 Mariners swept the Blackjacks during the regular season although both games were very competitive.
Kickoff time Saturday afternoon will be at 2:00 p.m. and team President Marcos Alfaro Senior says the winner advances to the semifinal round of the playoffs.
