The Sheboygan Theatre Company (STC), a local community theater, is celebrating its 90th Season this year.
Founded in 1934 when nearly 30 separate groups joined forces, the STC has provided entertainment as a non-profit organization part of the Sheboygan Area School District Community Recreation Department.
The STC has prioritized passion, respect, creativity and imagination, community, inclusivity and diversity, and artistic excellence season after season with at least four Main Stage shows each year.
This year, four new plays are being brought to the Leslie W. Johnson Theatre on the Horace Mann Middle School Campus.
Starting off strong in September with a family favorite, The Little Mermaid. From December 1st-9th, A Christmas Carol will take center stage, and the fantasy story of Into the Woods will be performed February 16th-24th.
Finally, Tony Award-Winning Musical Rent will hit the stage May 10th-18th.
Bestul will be performed on the second stage in the fall of 2023, and Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead in the spring of 2024.
